The Cornwall Centre for Volunteers is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. We are a Cornish organisation and have been working in the county since 1979. The Centre operates two Government schemes: Millennium Volunteers and New Deal voluntary option. The Centre is responsible for all aspects of volunteering across the county and manages the Volunteer Development Centres in Caradon, North Cornwall, Restormel and Carrick together with Interlinks in Kerrier, Carrick and Restormel and a BME worker in the East of Cornwall. The Transport department of the Centre provides a countywide social car scheme for a number of statutory agencies and local charities. |
